We have arrived in Universal Marina to join Quokka! Very excited and now getting her ready for our first offshore. The nerves are building and the tension mounting but everything is well under control and we are raring to go. I have just picked up the brand new mainsail and am about to give some nav tuition to Nick our trainee navigator! He is fresh out of a Nat Ives offshore nav course so I am hoping he will be teaching me a few tricks!
Now just awaiting the rest of the team for the final countdown to begin with dinner at Nautical Nellies, our new replacement for the Yellow Welly at our old base in Shamrock Quay!New beginnings and challenges all round! We now just need some great results and our new team kit
