2012 Racing Calendar Announced

If you were thinking of having a quiet year, think again! Sailing Logic have a superb calendar of inshore and offshore events lined up including a few new events such as the Spi Ouest regatta as part of the new Inshore Campaign, as well as a return to the Caribbean on a gorgeous new Grand Soleil 46 plus all the usual favourites including Cork Week!

Offshore

The major offshore campaign for 2012 is the Round Ireland Race, but you can also sign up to the new 'RORC Series' of all 6 weekend races. Plans are still in progress but we are also looking at the Middle Sea Race too!

We're also planning to enter some of the popular JOG races - so as soon as they announce their dates, we will let you know!

Inshore

For inshore racers, join the new Inshore Campaign, which for the includes for the first time the exciting Spi Ouest regatta in France, as well as the Spring Series and IRC Nationals. 2012 is also a Cork Week year - hurrah, which along with Cowes Week and Dartmouth will keep the social scene in full swing!

We're also looking at how we can offer more weekend only inshore racing (like the Spring/Winter Series but in the summer too - keep an eye out for updates on this.

Race Training

We have more dates for the 3-day race development course (first one is pre-Spring series for you keen-beans), as well as a new Racing Sail Trim weekend masterclass - covering both upwind and downwind (kite) trim.

We're also looking to offer more beginner race training weekends in the summer months and to run a bespoke offshore course including advanced meterology.

Milebuilding

For anyone working towards their RYA tickets, we have a number of exciting milebuilding delivery trips as well as new milebuilding offshore cruises - great for logging miles - or as a first taste of offshore sailing. See our new milebuilding calendar.

Plus add a couple more ICAP Leopard days into the mix and there are plenty of new and exciting opportunities to get out racing next year, and even more still in the pipeline. If you want to be the first to know as plans develop, make sure you are on our newsletter list.
