Heineken St Maarten Regatta

Now celebrating its 33rd year, the popular St Maarten Regatta (also spelt St Martin) in early March 2013 is an inshore yacht racing regatta promoting itself as "Serious Fun!". The exciting racing features a variety of daily coastal race courses, with between 1 and 3 courses each day, returning to a different marina in the small Caribbean island of St Maarten each evening where the shore-side musical entertainment begins.

With over 250 yachts of all types competing by day, and live bands each evening, this really is 'serious fun!'  More information is available on the official website of the Heineken Regatta.

Sailing Logic are offering individual race crew places in the St Maarten Heieneken Regatta 2013 on board our highly competitive racing yacht for 2 days of training and 4 days of exciting inshore and coastal racing. You can also join the yacht in Antigua for the delivery sail to St Maarten.

We have teamed up with the 48' yacht Scarlet Logic and race-winning skipper Tim Thubron, who led Sailing Logic to victory in the 2011 St Marten Regatta and came 2nd in 2012, so all the ingredients are there for a truly fantastic Caribbean Regatta!

If you would like to make it into a family holiday, it's the perfect opportunity, whilst you will be racing by day there are plently of opportunities after racing to join your friends/family. Getting around is very simple by taxi as the island is so small!

Why not combine this event with the Caribbean 600 the week before to make the most of your trip to the Caribbean? Or after the regatta consider taking part in our Fastnet 2013 campaign for a truly memorable year of sailing!
