Cork Week 2012
Cork Week is a hugely popular regatta, staged in the
beautiful natural harbour of Cork, Southern Ireland. Every two
years over 300 yachts and race teams descend on Cork for what has
become one of the best regattas in the World.
Sailing Logic finished 2nd in class at Cork Week in 2010 and 2008. Everyone had
a fantastic regatta enjoying the vibrant social atmosphere and top
quality racing to the full!
Cork Week is famous for the excellent variety of racing
combined with unrivalled evening entertainment. You
will not be disappointed with the wonderful hospitality of the
locals, the superb racing and the amazing atmosphere that has
become synonymous with Cork Week.
With a Sailing Logic racing package you will join a competitive
yacht with top racing skipper, Tim Thubron. We include two
days of training so you can become familar with the boat and rest
of the crew and boost your chances of a podium finish.
Accommodation for Cork Week will be in the Sailing Logic
crew house in Crosshaven and is
included in the costs.
You will also have the option of joining the yacht deliveries
from Southampton to
Cork and also the return trip from Cork to Southampton.
These are provided FREE to our Cork Race Crew and
are great way to gain confidence and log offshore miles, which
would count towards the experience needed for the RYA Yachtmaster qualification.
