Hamble Winter Series 2012

Puma Logic, one of our Reflex 38s won the Garmin Hamble Winter Series in 2009, 2010 and 2011!

The Garmin Hamble Winter Series provides superb racing on Sundays from early October till beginning of December in the Solent. We are again entering our Reflex 38's in the series, providing excellent opportunities to race in this very popular, end of the season regatta. It is guaranteed that you will not be disappointed with our campaigns; they are fun, exhilarating and you will definitely learn lots.

Whilst our Garmin Hamble Winter Series campaign may not the cheapest around we do offer the best quality of training and racing available. Our yachts have been meticulously maintained and race prepared with top quality race sails. We only use highly experienced race skippers who are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. All of this is endorsed by our excellent results.

Training

The Garmin Hamble Winter Series is staged over eight weekends and racing is always on a Sunday. Four of the Saturdays have been designated as training days providing tuition and coaching to cover all the manoeuvres used whilst racing. After training we berth in Hamble on Saturday nights.

Half Series

If you cannot commit to a full series then the 'Half Series' option is perfect for you. The training day and racing format is exactly the same as for the full series but you simply sign up for the first half (first four weekends) or the second half (second four weekends).

If you are new to yacht racing, joining one of our Introduction to Racing weekend in October, followed by the second half series is a perfect way to combine racing with some additional training.

Many of our team members form the Hamble Winter Series return in the New Year to join our teams for the Warsash Spring Series.
