IRC National 2012

The IRC National Championships are organised by The RORC (Royal Ocean Racing Club) and are held in the Solent. There are seven inshore races over the three days of the Cowes based regatta, which attracts the most competitive of yachts in the area, and always delivers exciting and closly matched racing.

The IRC Nationals are ideal for people who have previous racing experience with us, possibly with the Warsash Spring Series or as part of the new Inshore Campaign. There is a training day on the Thursday, then upto three races each day over the Friday - Sunday regatta. Such intense racing sharpens the teamwork considerably and improves reaction times and understanding of the intricacies of windward/leeward racing. During the week, we will moor in Cowes to ensure the perfect Sailing Logic balance of socialising and competitive racing!

If you are looking for another event after the IRC National Championships then consider Cowes Week and Cork Week, both of these boast a great atmosphere combined with exciting yacht racing.

The IRC Nationals are included as part of the 2012 Inshore 'Spi Ouest' Campaign.
