RORC Series - Offshore Racing 2012
Join Sailing Logic for a series of 3 RORC weekend offshore
races, based in and across the Channel. Great fun, minimal
time off work and a different adventure every time!
Sailing Logic have a succesful racing history in the RORC
offshore racing series and you can help us continue this in 2012!
With a top racing skipper and first mate, you will progress and
develop throughout the programme. You can either join us for
the first 3 races as a package, or selected individual races.
Sailing Logic's yachts are meticulously maintained and prepared
with top quality racing sails, which is critical in gaining good
results. Our dedicated shore support team ensure the teams are well
looked after both in terms of providing a range of nutritous and
delicious meals whilst racing, and that all the logistics run
smoothly - giving our offshore racing campaigns the vital
edge.
No previous offshore racing experience is required, but prior
sailing experience is essential. If you are new to offshore racing,
you may prefer to start with one of the JOG races. Or if you are
looking for a an exciting racing calendar, combine this
series with our exciting Inshore Campaign.

3 Race Campaign
Ideal for those looking for a mini-campaign, join us for three
RORC offshore racing weekends, during which you can expect to log
approximately 625 nM offshore sailing. There is a single training
day included in the package and for further training, consider our
3-day race development course,
Morgan Cup Race. (plus training day) 4-6
May
Organised in conjunction with the Royal Thames Yacht Club, the
Morgan Cup race starts on Saturday morning, and lasts 24-36 hours
around fixed marks in the Channel, before returning to the
Solent.
Cervantes Trophy Race. 1-3 June
Starting from Cowes on the afternoon of Friday 1st June, the
Cervantes Trophy Race finishes just in front of Deauville. This
year is the 50th Anniversary Race!
Myth of Malham (Round Eddystone) Race. 22-24
June
A demanding course around the Eddystone Lighthouse and back. With
complex tidal patterns and protruding headlands, this course will
challenge navigators and crew alike!

What is included?
Race entry and mooring fees, 8 days racing
and 1 day training as per programme outlined above, professional
racing skipper and mate, accommodation on board, food aboard yacht
whilst racing or training, team shirt to keep and loan of
high-quality wet weather jacket and
trousers.
