Cork Week 2010

Sailing Logic finished 2nd in class at Cork Week in 2008. Everyone had a fantastic regatta enjoying the vibrant social atmosphere and top quality racing to the full. We have secured the same crew house for the team in 2010 just outside Crosshaven which provides excellent accommodation for the duration of the Cork Week regatta.

Cork Week is a hugely popular regatta staged in the beautiful natural harbour of Cork in Southern Ireland. Every two years over 300 yachts and race teams descend on Cork for what has become one of the best regattas in the World.

Cork is famous for the excellent variety of racing combined with unrivalled evening entertainment. Come and enjoy the competitive sailing at this premier event in July. You will not be disappointed with the wonderful hospitality of the locals, the superb racing and the amazing atmosphere that has become synonymous with Cork Week.

There is the option of joining the deliveries to and from Cork. The team will then join the boat on Saturday morning for two days of race training. The five days of racing then starts on the Monday and finishes on Friday. Accommodation for Cork Week will be in the Sailing Logic crew house in Crosshaven and is included in the costs.

You will also have the option of joining your yacht on the deliveries from Southampton to Cork and also the return trip from Cork to Southampton. You could gain some valuable offshore miles which would bring you closer to the experience needed for the RYA Yachtmaster qualification.
