IRC National Championships 2010
The IRC National Championships are organised by RORC (Royal Ocean Racing Club) and are held in the Solent starting on Friday 25 June. Following a training day on Thursday 24 June there are seven inshore races over the three days of the regatta. This regatta promises a very competitive fleet with very close racing.
The IRC Nationals are ideal for people who have been racing with us in the early season possibly with the RORC Easter Challenge or the Warsash Spring Series. There are up to three races every day which will sharpen the teamwork considerably over the three days of racing and improve reaction times and understanding of the intricacies of windward/leeward racing.
If you are looking for another event after the IRC National Championships then Cowes Week and Cork Week are worth looking. Both of these boast a great atmosphere with exciting yacht racing.
