RORC Easter Challenge Regatta 2011

The RORC Easter Challenge Regatta is organised by RORC (Royal Ocean Racing Club) over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and is intended as a 'warm up' event for the season. It is a good fun event and RORC provide RYA coaches on the water throughout the RORC Easter Challenge to offer invaluable advice and tips with superb video de-briefs in the evening.

This three day regatta consists of seven inshore round the cans races in the Solent. Each race has reasonably short legs which is perfect for working on teamwork and learning new skills. This would be an ideal regatta as a continuation of the Hamble Winter Series, Warsash Spring Series or even the Introduction to Racing course.

Following a training day on the day before Good Friday, the RORC Easter Challenge regatta is based in Cowes for the three days. It provides a great mix of fun racing, good socials and excellent coaching/learning opportunities.
