Sailing Logic takes safety very seriously and all yachts used in deliveries are fully MCA coded and equipped with appropriate safety equipment including liferaft, flares, EPIRB, storm sails, emergency tiller and an AIS transponder and receiver.

We highly recommend that anyone undertaking a delivery or milebuilder trip completes the ISAF Offshore Safety Course (incorporating the RYA Sea Survival Course) which will ensure you know how and when to use the onboard safety equipment, preparation for an offshore passage to minimise risk of incidents and how to deal with situations and adverse weather if they do arise.

What next? Why not try yacht racing? Offshore races cover long distances but with the racing focus, you'll learn a lot more about sail trim, racing navigation, and watch rotations. You can join Sailing Logic for just a weekend RORC race, or sign up to an exhilarating campaign such as the Fastnet Race.
