Learning to sail is the first step of a potentially
life-long passion.
If you don't have much holiday allowance, why not combine
learning to sail with a holiday abroad?! Learning with our RYA
partners (Atlantic Charters) in Gibraltar is the perfect
combination - tidal sailing waters, a mediterranean climate and
exciting new places to explore.
You can also extend your stay by a day or two and relax in
Gibraltar or take a walk up the rock to survey the sailing area
from a great vantage point!
The centre in Gibraltar is within walking distance of the
airport, and with cheap flights available from Easy-jet, Monach and British Airways - learning to
sail abroad is as easy as in the UK!
If you prefer to learn to sail in the famous sailing area of the
Solent, or would like to make the most of weekend sailing
opportunities, consider our Port

The Yachts
The flag ship Pronavia 38's are without doubt the envy of
all the sailing schools in Gibraltar. Being coded to meet the
strict standards of the MCA is to us a basic requirement, which we
exceed having extra equipment on as standard to meet the
requirements of RORC, the largest offshore racing body in the
world. Along with this they boast sail wardrobes of Pentax, Kevlar
and Dacron composites plus down wind spinnakers not usually carried
on RYA training vessels. The RYA training fleet includes, Pronavia
38, Jeaneau 37, Jeaneau36i.
