Are you thinking about learning to
sail?
If so, the RYA Start Yachting course may be perfect for you. It
is a weekend taster course for complete beginners, which is an
excellent introduction to the wonderful sport of
sailing.
This weekend will give you your first and exciting experience of
helming a yacht, you'll also learn some key knots and the basics of
hoisting the sails and the principles of sailing, with the
emphasis on having fun and enjoying a new experience.
We understand that you may be apprehensive, but you will be
under the watchful eye of a fully qualified RYA Instructor
throughout the weekend.
Be warned, sailing can become addictive very
quickly!

Format:
This course is delivered by a training partner.
Join the yacht in Southampton on Friday 7pm, ready to set sail on
Saturday morning. Stay on board and return about 4pm on Sunday.
Cost: £210 per
person
What is included:
Staying on board overnight (please
bring a sleeping bag), food on Saturday and Sunday. Tuition from an
RYA Instructor, RYA Start Yachting Certificate.
