RYA Basic Sea Survival Course
| Cost: | £95 |
| Course Duration: | One-day |
It is a well-proven fact that in an
emergency at sea, people with good training are more likely to
survive.
As well as a classroom session covering
procedures to follow in case of a survival situation the
RYA Basic Sea Survival Course includes an invaluable
practical session. You will experience first hand
the difficulties of climbing into a liferaft whilst fully kitted
out in foul weather gear and inflated lifejacket and will learn
many simple, but effective survival techniques.
This RYA Basic Sea Survival course is
a must for anyone going to sea and could save your life one
day.
This one-day course is an essential
pre-requisite to the RYA Yachtmaster exam and also contributes to
one of the modules of the I
SAF/RYA Offshore Safety Course,
which is a requirement for many offshore races.
