Practical RYA Courses in the Mediterranean (Gibraltar) and the UK (Solent)

Sailing Logic is a fully recognised Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre. We offer a complete range of theory and practical RYA courses at our bases in the UK (Solent) and the Mediterranean (Gibraltar). Whether you are a complete beginner and want the ‘RYA Start Yachting Course,’ or are a more experienced sailor with a desire to become a ‘Yachtmaster,’ then Sailing Logic will be able to help you.

Over the past few years Sailing Logic has built a reputation as the most successful RYA sailing school in the UK. The enthusiasm and commitment provided by our vastly experienced instructors is second to none. The fact that we have won the Royal Ocean Racing Clubs ‘School Boat of the Year’ award for the past five consecutive years speaks volumes for the quality of tuition that we provide to all levels.

  • RYA Start Yachting Course

    Our next RYA Start Yachting course is on 21/22 August. It is aimed at complete beginners and is the perfect introduction to sailing yachts.

  • Le Havre Wine Race

    Enjoy a fantastic weekend of fun racing on a Reflex 38 and stock up your wine cellar at the same time! Our Le Havre Wine Race is perfect if you want to enjoy some great offshore sailing, fine French cuisine at the Le Havre Yacht Club and a great social.

    Leaving Shamrock Quay at lunch time on Friday 24 September there will be an overnight sail to Le Havre where you will enjoy the morning and early afternoon lapping up the delicacies of France before returning to Shamrock Quay on Sunday 26 Sept.

  • Spinnaker Handling Course

    Improve your understanding of spinnaker handling and trim. The course will concentrate on the intricacies of trimming the spinnaker throughout the wind ranges and angles. It will also cover the different hoists and drops.

  • Solent to Dartmouth Mile Builder

    We have a couple of places left on our mile-building trip from Southampton to Dartmouth and then from Dartmouth to the Solent, which leaves Shamrock Quay on Monday 23 August.

    The 100-mile trip will take about one day and cost just £100.00!
