  • Long may it continue ...

    Just wanted to say thankyou for a very enjoyable winter series, even with the excessive winds, rain and aching shoulders after weekends on the main sheet! It has been great to be part of a crew that was consistently competing at the front of the fleet and ultimately taking series honours. I echo Peter Brownsell's words from last night in that you have a great set up at Sailing Logic and it really feels like we're competing as a team rather than a scratch sailing school boat... long may it continue! Philippe Falle

Philippe is an RYA Yachtmaster Examiner, an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and is also a committee member at the Royal Ocean Racing Club. As a Round the World racing yachtsman, Philippe has an unequivocal passion for sailing and the sea, which has spanned over twenty years.

As a hugely committed yachtsman Philippe has enjoyed considerable success on the racing circuit at a high level. In 2009 he received the ultimate accolade when Puma Logic, the yacht he was skippering, was named as the ‘RORC Yacht of the Year’ winning the highly acclaimed Somerset Memorial Cup.

Philippe has dedicated the last five years of his life to Sailing Logic with a strong desire to introduce new people to the sport. Hundreds of people have benefited from his enthusiasm and undeniable talent of teaching and running a successful race team at a high level.

As winner of the RORC ‘School Boat of the Year,’ for the past seven consecutive years there are not many people who would deny Philippe’s proven ability to build a race team and coach them to a level where they are capable of regularly winning.

Most notably, with trainee crew, Philippe has won the Rolex Fastnet Race, the RORC offshore Championships, The Round Ireland Race, The Madeira to Cowes Race, numerous other offshore races, The Garmin Winter Series and Round the Island Race. There are not many better people to learn to sail from!
