Sharon Hayward
Sharon is the most recent addition to the team and brings with her both a corporate and sailing background.
Sharon completed a graduate Marketing training programme at Boots the Chemist and was involved in launching new Karvol & Nurofen products as well as developing the No7 cosmetics range and relaunching the self-tan category. From there she moved into Financial Services and managed a VISA credit card and loyalty scheme for Austin Reed menswear before moving on to become a Marketing Manager for Carling beer at Molson Coors Brewers.
During this time Sharon had developed an interest in sailing and completed her RYA Day Skipper in her free time and decided to take a year out to pursue some adventures at sea working for Neilson in Greece as a Yacht Trainer. Discovering a passion for delivering a high quality experience and working with people she gained her RYA Yachtmaster qualification and returned for a second year as a Flotilla Skipper in the Peloponnese.
Braving the UK climate she has now chosen to return to a career on land and combine her new passion for sailing with her corporate background as our Business Development Manager. Sharon comments “I am thrilled to join Sailing Logic at such an exciting time in their development. Their fantastic results are testimony to the success of their business approach - they are extremely professional, enthusiastic and dedicated to ensuring the participants get the most out of their experience, whether that’s a corporate day or a racing weekend. And to top it off they are really nice people too!”
