Tim Thubron

With over 20 years’ experience sailing keelboats, Tim is a qualified RYA/MCA YachtMaster Offshore skipper and RYA Cruising Instructor as well as holding a BSc (Hons) Degree in Marine Navigation. Tim is also part of the Selection Committee for British Teams in the Rolex Commodores’ Cup.

He has twice sailed across the Atlantic and raced in many offshore races around the world including The Rolex Fastnet, Rolex Middle Sea Race and in the Round Ireland Race.

Yacht racing is his real passion and he been working as a professional sailor now for 15 years. As skipper or tactician, he has won his class in the Rolex Fastnet Race, Cowes Week, Cork Week, Antigua Sailing Week, and the Round the Island Race.
