Round Ireland 2024

Round Ireland Race 2024

The Round Ireland race is the highlight of Sailing Logic’s offshore racing calendar in 2024. A 700NM race, it is approximately the same length as a Rolex Fastnet Race or RORC Caribbean 600 – and you will enjoy the stunning, rugged scenic backdrop as you circumnavigate Ireland.

Based on feedback from previous offshore events, the campaign will start with a training weekend to include some inshore racing, to boost crew skills in manoeuvres. There are two qualifying RORC races, the optional (but encouraged) delivery to Wicklow plus the race itself!

The Round Ireland Race is characterised by a variety conditions – from sleigh rides down the Atlantic West Coast to the tricky tidal zones on the East.

The race takes place every other year (alternates with the Fastnet) and is a firm favourite with many of our skippers and crews..
