Cruising and Mile Building

From a novice to the highly experienced there is always something to enjoy

At Sailing Logic we have the largest luxury bareboat and skippered yacht charter fleet in the Solent, with yachts ranging from 30ft – 50ft.

From our base at Port Hamble Marina you have access to the famous Solent sailing area, which is only 20 minutes away..

From the breath-taking views of the Needles to the sun setting over Osbourne Bay there is no other more varied cruising ground that offers so much at every level. From a novice to the highly experienced there is always something to enjoy and learn in the Solent. Sheltered anchorages, superb scenery, and numerous historic ports all a very short distance apart. So much choice and so much scope, that’s why Solent sailing is so rewarding.

The Solent offers world-class sailing conditions and spectacular scenery. It’s protected waters offer a unique and challenging sailing experience perfect for experienced and novice sailors alike. This 30 mile stretch of water between England and the Isle of Wight, flanked at one end by the famous Needles and at the other by the historic Napoleonic forts, provides some of the most popular cruising waters in the World.

You can visit pretty harbours at Hamble, Beaulieu, Lymington; maybe you prefer a waterside pub on the Isle of Wight like the charismatic Folly Inn or a stroll around the narrow streets of Cowes, even a shopping trip to Gunwharf Quays in historic Portsmouth?

Whatever the day and time of year there is always something to see in this busy stretch of water.

Mile Building

Throughout the year we have many trips around Europe and the South Coast of England that require us to deliver the yachts to the event they are to participate in. These trips are perfect for individuals or groups looking to gain experience and mileage towards their RYA certification or simply just to go for a nice cruise to a destination outside of the Solent. For more details on these trips please contact the office and they will advise you of the upcoming trips.
