RORC CARIBBEAN 600

The RORC Caribbean 600 is the only offshore race of the Caribbean series, and takes you on a fantastic journey, circumnavigating the Caribbean Islands.

Established in 2008, this race has already become a firm favourite, with many well known and glamorous sailing yachts competing - creating an awe-inspiring start-line scene.

Starting from and finishing in Antigua, the route zig-zags around 11 Caribbean Islands including Nevis, St Kitts, Saba and St Barth's before looping around St Maarten and heading south around Guadeloupe and its notorious wind-shadow.

The total route is 605nM and the figure-of-8 loop creates eleven legs, keeping it interesting for crew and navigators alike.

With tropical islands, sunshine and shorts, warm seas and steady trade winds, the Caribbean is an offshore racing paradise. With tactical gains to be made from both winds and currents and the annual dilemma of how to tackle the wind shadow off Guadeloupe, there is plenty of excitement throughout the race.

TESTIMONIALS

I started racing with Sailing Logic two years ago and haven't looked back; The quality of training, skippers and boats make it the best and most professional school I've ever raced with. Head and shoulders above the rest!

Thank-you Sailing Logic for making 2015 one of the best years I have had. The sailing was amazing but the new friends and the feel of being part of one big happy family is priceless.

Innis Wilkinson

Our skipper's example of outstanding seamanship and his nurturing of the team meant we not only had a fabulously enjoyable year but importantly, we could really make the yacht go fast! This is not just sailing, this is Sailing Logic.
